thats because we are in totally different markets. here its like its own country.

trust me I have been to many shops small and large. too much manufacturing business here already. people dont have time to mess with small jobs.

the economy problems here are less than any other state in the US. Texas is adding jobs not losing them.

but back to my original point, why buy something I can make myself? I can make it cheaper than anyone and have it the way I want it. so your point is useless in this discussion. I know the local pricing and other specifics and you dont.

not trying to be a dick but this doesnt concern anyone but me. where I get my materials is my choice and mine alone. I make as many pieces as I can. the only balljoint cups I buy are screw in ones.

any issue that comes up with a part I use or make I resolve the way I see fit to the satisfaction of the customer. its been that way since I opened in 1994. Im not a 22 year old kid building parts in my garage. Im 45 years old, been welding for 30 years and been building custom parts for all kinds of cars and trucks since about 1985. Im building parts in a fully equipped shop. I know who to call for anything I need made and I dont need someone on the other side of the country to tell me how to get parts made.

I do appreciate any tips or help and I will choose to use those tips and help as I see fit.

I choose to make affordable parts rather than really expensive parts that the average minitrucker cant afford. thats my choice and its working well for me. I will let someone else build the high end parts.

My customers concerns about the look of balljoint cups is duly noted and I will take it under advisement and take the quality up a notch. Im perfectly capable of making very nice cups on my lathe.

again, thanks for your advice and I welcome any communication thru email at Mike@dallashotrodparts.com

email me and we can chat anytime. I mean that sincerely.

Thank you for admitting that the cups quality was sub par. And that the rod end was fucked up.... Thats all I really wanted this whole time. Doesn't help the box of parts I have sitting, but i have to be honest when I say that I don't trust you to deliver replacement products to me in a timely fashion. I put alot of trust in you by ordering from you at all after the BYC days. I figured you were out to get your name back via quality products and good customer service, but this time I was let down. I will cut my losses at this point.

I never said they were sub par, you did. My par must be a different level than yours obviously. I also did not say anything about the rod end being fucked up. this is the first ive heard that a rod end was fucked up. you said they had wasted space. you should have contacted me for a replacement when you noticed it. as ive said before just send it back and I will replace it and pay shipping both ways.

But I doubt your going to go for that. You have a pre disposed opinion based on rumor and lies from the past and nothing short of a part made by god, delivered is less than 10 seconds will please you. even if that were possible you would still come in here to talk trash. its because you would rather talk trash and knock me down just to look cool to the rest of the sheep in here. ill say it one more time, i make affordable parts but not the best parts. I make good parts just like many other companies out there make a good product thats not the best. it doesnt mean the product is bad but its not the best and theres nothing wrong with that. its what you give up to get to the affordable price range.

I feel the cups I make are very good. if you got one that was not to your liking then you should let me replace it. thats the right thing to do, not come in here and talk trash.

every other thing you guys have come up with Ive shot down, then whatever it is has not been mentioned again...

Im done arguing with you on this. my parts are good, affordable and work well. if your not happy return them and I will either replace them or refund you.

any further comments can be directed to me at www.fabricationnation.com in the brawl room.

I will check this every now and then.

Why are you directing them to your site? Thats why we are letting this thread exsist here. So you guys can work it out. I didn't think your motive was to direct people off this thead or I wouldn't be allowing the thread to start with.

If you want to handle it here, lets handle it here, if your intention is to handle it on your site then lets remove the thread?

Let me know.

WOW. Has anyone actually gone over to his fabricationation.com website and looked in the brawl room?

Jesus man, its looks like your just there talking shit .... to yourself. There is an entire thread that has 15 posts in it, that are all from you, calling people bitches.

Its quite humorous.

Damn, Bryan and Joel are getting hammered over there! What the hell? No one to talk to, cuss at your own forum I guess! Mike, if I were you i'd use one screen name because it makes it look awfully suspicious logging on under different names. Hows anybody to believe that you don't just make a new name and brag your own products up on here or your forum? As far as the threaded bushed ends and balljoint cups go, for the time and material that it takes to make them you could buy them and spend a few more dollars but be ahead on time. Since time is money you'd come out even or slightly ahead. Not sure how much time it takes you to make one of your balljoint cups (ordering or picking up stock, sawing stock, facing all the parts, welding them together, grooving the inside for whatever reason, clean up) but if it takes you an hour and shop rate is $25/hr (time plus material) i'd rather order one cup for $25 and save an hour of my time, or two hours on a set of lowers. Don't get me wrong, I love making as many parts as possible but at some point you have to weigh the cost of each. The time you spend building cups and rod ends could be time spent making arms and cross members and it really wouldn't affect the cost of your parts because of the time your saving. If Texas is its own country then shop around on the net (outside of Texas) for qoutes on cups. There are lots of machine shops that will draw up a design off your specs and cut a few at a time for you. Sounds like Taylor or Big Joe might be able to help you out with the cups. I can design the cups in CAD for you and cut them or just send you the file to have cut there. Joel does laser cutting maybe he can help you out by cutting nice crisp balljoint plates or Guilty By Design or Illusive Design. There are lots of afforable options. Maybe think about adding to your website that DHP formerly BYC offers affordable parts not the best, if you want the best go spend $200 more elsewhere, that might clear up any confussion when they open the box. Now i'm not bashing, just offering up some advice like some of the others have tired to. You are your own man and its your choice to take it or not. I wish you the best luck with DHP!

yes I had to respond there because of getting banned on RPS when I called out the guy who bought the part from me and had a copy 11 days later.

think whatever you like about it. The people that need to read it have and thats the intent.

You BYC haters just keep on bringing up crap. Ive been knocking down everything you bring up.

You cant stand it that I proved every one of you wrong.

No need to buy cups when I can make them myself. I am trying to get away from 2 piece cups though. Im going to a thicker one piece and using a step in the balljoint to also allow more drop built in.

also no need to add anything to the website. I already have all the specs on my arms like what they are made out of, process etc.

The reason Ive signed in on 2 different names is I did not have the password for this one on my laptop at work. so I had to sign in on my buddys.

I have a pretty high satisfaction rate and as you business owners know it can never be 100%
