Taking out the motor, taking the motor apart, cleaning everything, painting all the parts to the motor..

Taking all of the suspension apart, cleaning all the parts, replacing ball joints, replacing all the bushings, painting everything, assembling everything..

Sanding the frame, the firewall, the front roll cage bars, repainting everything…

I can remember years ago hearing that LL was up around Atlanta I wanted that truck so bad you just can't believe it.  I ended up not finding it and honestly I probably wouldn't of been able to raise the money, but either way I wanted it and would have tried.  Later I found out that Fester had bought it and was a little jealous at first but after months of watching the rebuild I quickly realized that if I had gotten it, it would have never been rebuilt the way it deserved.  Hands down that man has preserved a truck that help light my interest in this scene immensely. Fester I have more respect for you than you will ever know and to hell with the haters they just don't understand what it means to love something as much as some of us and are fortunate enough to get the chance to!  Oh and if could afford to I would definetly try my damndest to buy Twisted Metal! that truck is amazing and it isn't just a piece of history its a piece of artwork to envy!  

Thank you to everyone for their kind words, means a lot to know that others can actually appreciate what we try to do.  I have a lot tied up into what I do and love seeing people appreciate it.  I hope Kris article can open eyes and change people's views.

First off,Festers collection of trucks is amazing!!!Now onto the 'built not bought'.... I remember 2 years ago when i bought Ryan's blue frontier "Daily Dragger" people were hating on me for buying a done truck. but honestly it was such a great deal i couldn't pass it up, and it was everything that i would have done if i had built a truck myself... One more thing that i didn't understand was at the BTN car show back in 08..  i drove that truck everyday to work, and i wasn't planning on even showing that day.. it had rained the night before, so it got dirty while i was out cruising it, and it rained on my way to the show. I was going to just spectate, but by the time i would have payed for my wife and i to get into the show, it was cheaper to just 'show' the truck, plus i wouldn't have to worry about door dings in the parking lot. and people were truly getting PISSED off at me because the truck was a little dirty. And they starting yelling about the fact that there were a few rock chips in the hood, they were saying 'i cant believe you would drive this thing' Why wouldn't I? i didn't buy 'this thing' to let it sit in the damn garage... Ryan built that truck to drive, and thats what i did. Enough ranting and raving..... Fester, its damn good to see you back on SSM!!!! hit me up sometime!

Only thing I'm mad about is that he has both last look and time machine and I dont!

fester my girls son is in love with the time machine he still talks about it I remember seeing trucks like last look and time machine when i first started gettin into the scene and for that to be part of her sons first experiences is to me what it is all about. As for people talking shit fuck them the caliber of vehicles in festers collection is amazing and it does take a very special person to rebuild these trucks and perserve them the way he does.

Just to put it into perspective...is Jay Leno a poser or a fake? He has got a badass collection of everything and yes he does work on some of his stuff but he didn't build everything in his collection. So I guess he is a poser, fake, wanna be, whatever you want to call it. I don't think so, you don't have to build it to be into it, just respect it, respect the builder and respect the scene. If you can do that, who gives a shit what anyone else thinks. Like Kat Williams said..."You need haters, let them do their motherfkn job, if you have 14 haters figure out a way to get to 18 before next week." hahahahahahaha That's not exactly how it went but you get the idea. hahaha

i just realized that Fester has Time Machine too lol. *bows to fester* So if I recall this correctly, he has his own blue ranger that he is building (which is bad ass in itself) the purple ranger, Last Look, Leif's mazda and now time machine? The man seriously deserves a multiple page article detailing what he has done so far with several pieces of our history.  And one final comment on the actual subject, those that can't see nor grasp what Fester is doing, have absolutely NO business being affiliated, around or in our lifestyle/hobby/obsession. If those folks can't understand the pretty simple, but awesome concept of what fester is doing here, and see the big picture now, then they are never going to understand and can GTFO.
