Looking good, just curious how tall is your notch? I was thinking about putting my bags there.

From the top of the old frame rail to bottom of the notch is 5 3/4".

I finally got back to working on the watts link tonight. I got the linkage arms built and then started on the passenger side mount. Basically a lot of cutting, grinding, and welding. In other words lots of fun!

I still have to do the drivers side mount to complete, but it was getting late and it had been a long day...

Enjoy the pictures. Let me know what you think.

Where did you get the watts link from?

The link I actually got off ebay. It is a brand new piece that was $24 (or close to it), it is off a Dodge Prowler. The rest of the assembly I built. I bought the rod ends off ebay as well. The tubing I got at my local steel supplier.

Once I get it all completed I will post a lot more pics.

I have a big question for the guys who have gone to the single wheel one ton front brakes. What issues am I going to be dealing with? Reduced turning circle is one I have heard of. Any others??? Any help would be appreciated.

Just check one more time to see what I will run into with the single wheel one ton front brakes. What issues am I going to be dealing with? Reduced turning circle is one I have heard of. Any others??? Any help would be appreciated.

Reduced turning circle is a plus?????? If it increased it it would be bad.... The only thing I ran into is, needed extra clearance on the control arms. When turning lock to lock without clearancing the lower arms rim and tire will rub. Plus you will need to lengthen your arms 2 1/2-3". The SRW hubs are 5" shorter, so if you lengthen your arms 3" your wheels will be 2" inward compared to stock. You actually don't have to cut into the fender wells with the SRW hubs. There is a lot more pluses running them with than DRW hubs. Of course they only work with 22's or 24's.

Thanks for your help! I think you boiled it down to what I have heard on several on the build sites in just a short manner. That's awesome!
