Fuel Injection/Turbo questions.

here is something new to consider- how about a 12 valve fe mazda motor, single overhead cam, efi, RWD! with a distributor! Intake goes over the top of the valve cover. I just imported one from Japan- it is out of a bongo van I believe. Currently it's a 1.8 liter, but it is the exact mx-6/626/ ford probe turbo cylinder head, but RWD! So the 2.2 block will go under it. And the turbo manifold bolts right up. The distributor's timing is the only thing left to check- it is built externally just like the b2200 carb distributor- but it is not vacuum advanced. This should be interesting.

just finished installing the bongo motor into my 93 b2200, it's a real sweet little engine. 1.8 liter, 12 valve head, fe engine fuel injected. I used the stock b2200 distributor- vacuum advanced, and Megasquirt standalone fuel management. Things runs beautifully. Looks really cool. As soon as I get the smog test done and licence plates- she is getting boost, my ford probe gt is going to donate it's turbo parts to it!

Just got the f2 back from the machine shop TODAY! It's a stock block that's been decked, bored .20 over, checked, cleaned, ready to go. Also ready is a set of forged pistons just pressed onto stock rods. Bearings and rings ready to go. So now I'm going to put together the bottom end, and take down the bongo to steal it's head and build a rwd f2t! The distributor is done! I had my machinist build a custom distributor for the bongo head, with the f2t guts in it! I have the harness, ecu from an mx-6 gt, and 370 cc injectors. I have a supra fuel pump, custom intake manifold for fwd, custom exhaust manifold for a t3 .60 trim from a buick grand national. I need to get the front mount intercooler and intercooler piping, and I'm done!

sounds awesome! someone just dynoed 300whp with the grand national on an f2t, but it was a bit slow to spool. will be a torque monster for sure :-)
