What a prick. Strangely enough I'm pretty sure I passed the mustang going over monteagle mtn on its way back to Alabama around noon today. Was that it?
mtrain   +1y

Wow, yes that was it. Black and Gold, with a white truck pulling it.

As a matter of fact Slowroller if my father didn't have a heart attack I was going to ask if it would have been alright to stop by, and see your project in person, but as fate would have it I couldn't make the trip.

what a prick he was indeed. did he at least help cover the fuel costs?

Yes I got half of the shipping since they didn't trade.

I had to just about cancel the whole thing because he wouldn't send $400 earnest money. He said I should just take their word as it was their bond, and that was how he, and his dad did business.

My end was to pay for the shipping both ways, and an extra hood for a Top Secret hood that he had {only 1 of 4 known to exist in the USA.............lol, lol, lol, yeah that was a good selling point].

Anyway I liked the hood so I would still come out ok if things went as planned as the hood would still be cheaper than buying it brand new.

So getting the $400 helped, but I was still the one taking all of the risks. The idiot even wanted me to paint the extra hood black/gold with NO guarantee of the trade.

What amazes me is that these people seem to have $$$ falling out of their ass so I can't understand why I got the run around for the $400. Hell its not like a had a teleporter to transport the car for free just to scam them out of the money.

They got all that money by screwing people.
I'd rather live poor, and be at peace with my conscience.
I tend to sleep better when I'm honest in my dealings!

Yep Sin, I'm with you on that.

I would say MOST {not all} rich people made their money by stepping on the heads of other people, or just inheriting their fortunes.

I was honest to a fault with these people. I told them I the windshield had a wiper mark. They ask me to replace it which I did.

Anyway its probably best I keep my Mustang as its a sure winner for the future price wise where as the Supra is a really nice car, its future is more uncertain.

I finally got around to installing the seats I pulled from my Mustang.

I changed the seats in the Mustang back to stock at the request of the Supra dorks, and I figured it was just too much trouble to put them back in the Mustang so I put them in my truck.

Those really look at home in there.

The seats look great...

too bad about that prick. Consider yourself lucky and that you still have an award winning car in your garage.

How's Stranger coming along now?
