I just got finished moving my uppers up and in, shorteneing the loweres a tad and re angled the upper joint by over 1/2 inch. Also completely cutout spring pocket plated inside and used 1/4 plate to make the upper bag mount. I get less than 6 deg of camber change and everything worked out great, I dont know what u guys are trippin about just do it! O yea the truck is stock floored on 245/35/20 and I get more than 2 inches above the tire at @ 115psi with a RE7!

I know that this thread has been going on for a while but i would like to chime in and say, i have djm arms with moog ball joints (stock dont travel enough) and with nothing more than a camber kit i get no worse than 5 degrees at any height.  my ride height is lo lo (i cant turn at drive height on highway) and i have very little bumsteer if any, and didnt lift the a arms or shorten anything.  But it lays frame flat with a 245-35-20 upfront not problem.  and when i z'd the frame i did the minimum at either 2 or 2.5 in.  so i dont know what the problem is!

---------------------------------------------Originally posted by couldbelowerare there any other spindles that can be used on the newer rangers to bring the control arms closer togeather....i have heard of using toyota control arms but not to sure about that and i have also heard of cutting the top of the spindle and redrilling for the ball joint...if possible that would help a lot on the camber issue and make it easier to lay out on 20s...?---------------------------------------------i have a 98 sfbd ranger on 20's with modified djm arms and slam re7's up front and im almost tuckin lug. you can modify your upper control arm mounts and raise them, i have not done this yet tho. as of right now my camber is not THAT bad. i would recommend cutting the stock spindle (unless you got the skills to) there are other ways around that.
